For Immediate Release New MAM Board of Directors Missouri Association of Manufacturers Announces 2020 Board of Directors additions SPRINGFIELD, MO - The Missouri Association of Manufacturers (MAM) is excited to announce the appointment of its 2020 Board of Directors (BOD). MAM Board of Directors announces the addition of Sherri Murrish and Jeff Cox to the Board of Directors for a three-year term. “Thanks to the support of MAM’s Board of Directors, this association continues with the passion and mission of proudly serving the manufacturing industry. We are dedicated to assisting the manufacturers in solutions to current issues. We are proud to have Sherri and Jeff as the newest additions to the MAM team,” said Kim Inman, MAM’s CEO & President. Sherri Murrish is the Regional Director Manufacturing Engineering for GKN Aerospace. Murrish supports the North America West region based out of St. Louis, MO. Murrish has been with GKN for 14 years. Prior, Murrish was the Director of Strategic Projects for GKN with regional responsibilities for establishing new facilities and manufacturing footprint initiatives which included working with external and government business partners to build and execute strong business cases. Murrish has a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and an MBA from Webster University. Jeff Cox is the Sales Executive for Shapiro Metals and based out of St. Louis, MO. In his two decades with Shapiro, Cox never gets tired of learning about manufacturing operations and getting to know the wide variety of unique, innovative companies through his work. Cox began his career at Shapiro in the plant and has a deep understanding of operations and business. It has prepared him to serve as a mentor for many professionals in the organization.
